Iowa Dairy Day at the Clay County Fair had a beautiful day for the event this year compared to the last few years when Mother Nature decided to not be as cooperative with large amounts of rain. This year nearly 200 students from the ISU Extension Ag-Citing Program and hundreds of fair-goers came through Central Park to learn about the dairy industry. WIDA had interactive games for kids, a feed station, dairy boot camp and samples of cheese curds courtesy of AMPI- Sanborn, lactose free milk courtesy of Hiland Dairy Foods. Dairy Day is a great way to interact with consumers bringing our dairy story to life!
Thank You to all the Volunteers to helped make this event possible. We could not have done it without your help!
