Request Dairy Products

Milk and dairy products are an important part of a healthy diet.  They are also a great way to refuel after exercise or sporting events.

Western Iowa Dairy Alliance would like to encourage student-athletes across western Iowa to include chocolate milk in their training routine.  In 2014, a dairy farmer requested funds for WIDA to provide a local high school with chocolate milk for athletes on both home and away teams after each varsity home football game.  The program was popular with coaches and athletes, so we’d like to expand it in 2018 to all fall sports programs (football, volleyball, cross country, etc).

We will award funds to school programs on a first-come-first-serve basis depending on total budget. In order to qualify for the program:

  • Coach or athletic director must complete the application form

  • Coach or athletic director must commit to providing chocolate milk to both home and away teams following games, matches or events

  • Strongly encourage sending a photo of teams drinking milk for WIDA to share with our members and on social media.

  • Strongly encourage recognition of product donation with signage, an announcement on PA system during games, or in another appropriate manner.

Community and Event Donation Program

Western Iowa Dairy Alliance has a program for community organizations or groups to request milk and dairy products at your next event.  We’ve provided milk for runners to refuel after 10k races, yogurt and cheese for youth camps, and milk for a number of community dinners and meetings. More details are available in the request forms below. Contact us at 712-441-5308 with any questions.
